Day 8

Our last stop was Salt Lake City.  We checked into our hotel and walked to a brewery down the road.  Outside our hotel was this beautiful flower garden with a water fountain.
After dinner we walked to the Temple and downtown area.  It was Jon's first time spending time in the City too.  Wish we had more time.
My friend Brianne came up to the city that night for a visit.  Olivia went to bed and Jon stayed at the hotel.  Brianne and I walked around the town and she showed me the outdoor mall.  To our surprise they had a Chalk Feasible there too.  We looked at tall the beautiful art work .  There was also an outdoor water fountain for kids to play in.  On your way back to the hotel Brianne wanted to stop at this cookie store.  The lady inside was friend and gave us a free cookie.  That was the best store bought in cookie I have had that seems some what healthy for you.  Bree what was the name of that place?  Then we went back to Brianne's car.  After Bree left I went tot he hotel, to my surprise Jon was still up.  He got food poison from our dinner.  He had a rough night and the next two days.  He is all better, and we are recovered from our long wonderful trip.  Thanks everyone that made it possible.

Girls road trip - Loveland CO

We went to Loveland Co. for the night.  Just Olivia and I.  When we got to the hotel the ever nice clerk told us about a free beach very close.  We headed there for about an hour.

The next morning we were up before the sun and went to Loveland High school for my 37 mile TRI.  Olivia took all the photo's.  Swam 1 mile, biked 30 miles, and ran 6 miles.

The water was a little cold at 5:59 am.
Olivia was a true sport, she was wide awake unit 2pm when we drove home.

Day 7

Headed to Medford Oregon, and on the way we saw Shasta Mountain.
Uncle Skip and Olivia making Cotton Candy.  Olivia was thrilled, and so was Uncle Skip.
Then they went swimming.  The water was warm but the air was not.  Of course I stayed out.
 Olivia is getting so brave.

 Jon goofing off.

Then there is the bird story.  Several weeks before our arrival they had a nest being build on there deck area.  So they cleared it out before they thought there were babies.  Yea, there were babies and died during the process.  So when we got their, there were attacking birds (we that those birds parents, and they were mad).  They would dive boom you, drop poop on you and drop rocks and other stuff in the pool.  It was miserable.  So the birds were taken care of (died).  Later that day we found out why they were doing that.
A baby bird nest in the bushes next to the pool.  Three baby birds with out parents.  What we told Olivia was there parents abandon them and we needed to replace them so they can live on there own or another bird would take care of them.  But first we played with them.

We gave them water and placed them in a shaded area next to some trees.  Olivia was awesome about it and always prayed for them at dinner time.  Our last night in Medford I checked on them and they did not make it.  Man we felt bad.  P.s. do not tell Olivia.
But Olivia was distracted by the Chickens, cows and beavers on there property.

 Mmmm dinner....
We had a wonderful time in Medford, Thanks all for making this trip the best.

Day 6

Last Day in Sacramento.  We all went swimming on this beautiful 90 degree day.

Teaching Olivia to be brave in the water and jumping off the side.
 we had a wonderful day
Girl time just kick in our feet.
Then Jon had a wonderful idea...
 An unique Family Photo.

 So BEAUTIFUL.
 Olivia doing the back stroke.
Then Jon teaching Olivia the fun kid stuff in the pool.

We all had a wonderful sunny day in the pool.  Thanks Mum for taking all the pictures.

Day 5

We arrived in Sacramento on Sunday, and my Aunt Ruth invited the family over for lunch.  It was awesome to see most of my cousins, aunts, and uncles.  Olivia met her second cousins (I think that is what they are to her).  Then Monday we headed to the State Capital to feed the squirrels.  Yes, we are Matching.  I asked Olivia what did she want me to make her this year and she wanted matching skirts.  Very easy this year.  It was just hard to find matching shirts.
We walked around the capital and found it hard to feed the squirrels.  Family photos around the grounds.
Thanks Mum
We found some squirrels but they were already eating.  Then we notice they get feed every day, so they did not want our food.  LOL
Then we headed back to Uncle Tim's house.  Jon and Olivia went swimming.

The water was a little cool.
Mum was working on an outfit for Olivia's new seal she bought.
My Mum is so creative that way.
We had an awesome day, filled with lots of laughs and giggles.
