Off to the fair.  We watched a magic show and Olivia volunteered to help out.
She had to hold this precious bear and let nothing happened to it.
 She did great, until...
all the legs, arms and head fell off.  She had a blast.
She we saw, baby pigs, cows, sheep, and goats.
Hot summer fun!

Girls day

We had three of Olivia's friends over today for a little get together.  We headed to the water park, that lasted 5 minutes in the cold water.  Then we headed to the park.  Then they got hot back to the water park.

The tire swing was their favorite.  Two and half hours, we headed back home to jump on the trampoline and eat cookies, pizza and ice cream.  The Ice Cream truck came around and the kids wanted ice cream. Olivia said, "I will get my money and buy you all one."  What an awesome girl.  They were gone before I could tell them I have ice cream sundaes here.  O well, she is awesome.
What a beautiful day.

Turtle Craft

Print out in Black and White.  The ruler is so you know how big to print it up.  Cut long ways on the towel paper roll just once.
 Color and glue.
Enjoy the turtle.

Lone Duck Camp Ground

We had 24 hours of nothingness so we headed to a local camp ground.  We have never been there before.
This was not our normal camping trip.  They had a pond, heated pool, game room, even breakfast.
Olivia had a blast catching craw dad's.

It rained for about 3 hours we where there, but in between the rain we were busy.

One of the other kids catch a huge trout, and Olivia wanted to hold it.

Olivia wanted to try eating a crawdad.  So Jon Helped her cook it.
She did not like it, o well.
Camping for 24 hours was great.

Celibration

We celibrate her Birthday last night.  She was thrilled.

Have you ever heard about these books?  We learned about them from Aunt Ruth in Sacramento..  Pinkalisious is amazing book too.
Never thought she would be so excited about cowgirl boots.  But that is what she asked for and she loved them.  Who knew Shoes of all gifts.  LOL

Birthday cake this year:  Homemade Browies, chocolate ice cream sundaes with the sprinkles of course.
We all had a wonderful celibration.  Happy 8th Birthday Olivia

Painting

Jon is painting the house a dark bluish grey color.  Man it looks so much better then before.
Looking good!

Water Sprinklers

A block from our house we have a wonderful sprinkler park.
Olivia loves to go but the water is always freezing.  We normally last 5-10 minutes before we walk home.
Yes I have tried it once and I had chicken skin instantly.  It was freezing.
It is a god way to get out of the house for a little bit to cool off though.
Best part is it is FREE!
Happy Summer!

4th of July

We did not do anything special for the 4th beside work, but we watch Colorado Springs light off fire works when they were band due to fire hazards.  I tested out my camera with the fire works (still learning on how to use it) and I was about to get ride of this picture but then I got looking at it.  you can see more then the blurry picture.  Can you see?
Hope you had a wonderful 4th of July.

Couple Day

We headed out for a 13 mile bike ride.  I was a beautiful day, until...
It started to hail and poor on us for 30 minutes.  The temperature dropped to 55. We took shelter under a tree and waited it out for a little bit.  15 minutes later we had to repeat.  Marble size hail hurts.
Then it cleared up and it was 70 degrees with sun.  We finished the ride and enjoyed the whole thing.
Well  not really, Jon loved it.  I did not care for mountain biking.  I prefer my road bike.  The scenery was beautiful though.
What a great day together.

Tough Mudder

10 miles, 26 obstacles and a fun time with my hubby.  We traveled to Beaver Creek, CO for this race.
There was lots of mud, 32 degree cold water, and fun obstacles to do together.

There was even a 10,000 electric charge that was not fun and left little bruises.  Jon was a champ, it really hurt.

If you are thinking about the tough mudder and doing it next year, we sign up now for 80 dollars. If you can walk or run 10 miles and some very steep hills then do it. the challenges are easy, just extremely cold. If was fun and worth doing it. The best part was doing it with my hubby next to me.
