Pancake rock Hike

 Pancake rock is 5 mile round trip.  I done it once and really wanted to take the kids this year.  I warned them it would be a hard hike and they all did great.  Abigail fell asleep 10 minutes into the walk.  Emma, James and Heaven did great for the 2.5 miles up the mountain.  It was a chili day but beautiful blue sky.

 The Fall leaves were beautiful and I love being outside with the kids.  This is my peace!

 When we got to the top we had lunch, and the kids played.  This was James kitchen and Abigail had to join brother.

James 7th Birthday

 This handsome young boy turned 7 on September 12th.  He wanted a chocolate and vanilla cake with strawberry frosting with greening lettering which he wanted it to say It's James Birthday!  I got most of it correct, the green I ran out and the strawberry frosting to turned orange as he hate pink.  Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles was the theme I made it into. 

 His favorite thing is Sugar and he loves his cake and ice cream!

 He got these amazing capes with matching mask, that he worn during and after the party. He even shared with is sisters.

 Emma loves making presents and made her brother a paper bird for James.  (James loves birds)

Girls night

 I got to hang out with these two beauties one Saturday night, while Jon took the other two to car mud racing.  We went for Ice Cream, ....

 played dress up, and...

made these doll house craft my Friend Mandy from china gave the kids.  This is only one set that they got to make.  Both girls loves this part the best. 

Then we watched The little mermaid.  First movie Abigail seemed interested it. 

It was a prefect night

Apple picking

 September 9th 2017 we headed to our favorite apple picking spot.  3rd Street apples, which is a family tradition to go to.  Last year all the tree died due to weather, this year there was so many they did not give us apple pickers. This was Abigail's second year but of course first year picking.

 There was a huge hornets nest maybe 14 inch long and 8 inch wide.  First time for us to see one of these cool creations.

 Of course the apples we liked best are to high to get, but not for use!

 The kids got to pick there favorite apples so they can take them to school.  James and Emma had a blast and wanted to pick all day.

 Heaven was excited to see so many apples this year. 

 James lost three teeth in about two weeks, and eating apples is a challenge.  After this picture two days later he lost his fourth front tooth, apple eating is harder now. 

 We all enjoyed an apple in the shade before leaving.

Labor day Weekend day 3

 Balloon festival we woke up really early for this wonderful Monday morning.  When we got there it was too windy for them to take off.  The people were so nice and let us take pictures with there baskets, in there baskets and even pull the flames.  Every year it different that is why I love going.

Labor day weekend day 2

 Colorado State Fair 2017, All three kids first time ever going.  Saw a lot of animals, and pet a lot of animals.

 Above this is not a real cow, just practice.  Picture below Emma was being eating by two cows.

 Abigail first ride.  Emma and James wanted Ice Cream over a kiddie ride.

 A long hot day with the kids and they loved every bit of it.

Labor day weekend day 1

 I got a visit while I was working and the kids got a treat and got to see the Sheriff vehicle.

James liked the handcuffs a little too much he wanted them again.

 After there visit they rod to a park and then home.  What a great little surprise.

1st Dentist

 We talked about it for a week and she was so excited about going.  Mom went first while she had everyone that walked by talk to her and say how cute she was just watching.  Then it was her turn,

 She let the hygienist check her teeth, polish her teeth and do fluoride.  It was only going to be a happy teeth check to get her use to everything but she let them do what they needed.

 She loved her new smile, her new white glasses they let her keep, her new tooth brush that has a Disney character on it (mom does not buy those), and even a toy from the toy box.  she was in heaven.

 Then the dentist came and she wanted her blanket and pig but she let him see with no issues.  Over all a wonderful visit.

Random August month

 Guess who loves to take rides?

 Guess who is potty trained? She will show you her underwear and ask you what color you have on too.  Be prepared.

 This huge child want to play with the small toys really bad!  Yes she got out but it was really funny.

 Last couple of shifts the kids have stopped by for a visit.  I think they like the trucks then missing mom.  :)

 Emma and James had a fun run at school.  Of course it was at 1pm in the sunny day but they did 50 laps which is 2.5 miles.  Way to go

 This little booger lost a second tooth, he was so happy he had to come down to show us.
