Princeton Hot Springs

Jonathan and I headed to Buena Vista, co for a couples get away. We could not check into our room until 3pm so we went on a 5 mile hike to see some falls.
on our way there we came across this eaten out tree.
had to cross maybe 5 streams/ creeks.
on one of our stops, we heard a tree fall. YES a tree makes a very loud noise when it falls in a forest. this picture was about a minute after it happened.
we made it to Brown Creek Falls, and had a great time there. The falls were pretty impressive.

messing around with my camera, I took a cool shot of Jonathan walking and wish I remembered how.
we hiked to the top of the falls to find smaller ones. Jonathan had a great time climbing every where.
After our hike we headed to our room to check in. From our porch we had a great view of 2 fourteen thousand foot mountains.
Before dinner we had to check out the slide hot spring pool.
The water was prefect and the slide was fun as well.
as the sun was setting, our neighbors took our picture.
The next day we went for another hike. This one was only 0.5 miles.
This short hike was great and beautiful. Colorado has some great waterfalls. Agnes Vaille Falls was really cool, and the little get away was awesome. Ready for work again.

Kindergarden Graduation

Olivia Graduated Kindingarden today. She was able to pick out her favorite dress, she picked her hair style and we were ready. (she wears uniforms at school)
She was so excited about today in so many ways.

She was very nurvious about performing infront of other people. She called it butterflies in her belly.
She did awesome though. She sang, played a kazoo, and did a little jig at the end.
She was thrilled when it was all over.
Her Treacher Mrs. Hoyt gave her certificate.
And then she ran to Daddy for her proud moment.
Yea, I am done!
She is a First grader finally.
All her hard work paid off.

Washington DC

Jonathan and I headed to Washington DC for him winning the Star of Life award. Jonathan is a paramedic in the springs and won the ward for 2009. our first few hours there we went to dinner and walked around Crystal City. We ate at the Morton's Steak house. Very Pricey but very good food. I totally recommend it once and definitely get a dessert.
Our second day there we went to Arlington National Cemetery.
We Walked that day about 10-12 miles seeing all the sites. We went to the Korean Memorial, Vietnam Memorial, Lincon Memorial, White house, National History Museum, and so much more.
Remember this guy from a Movie, his name is Dumb Dumb...

This bird at the Zoo had some crazy eyes. He was about 3 feet tall and came from Africa. The Zoo there was free and had tons of birds.
A famous Catholic church we visited.

Look I am a tree huger!
Our Capital
one of many awards Jonathan received.
one of Colorado house of Representatives.

Our Last night we had a formal dinner with AMR (his company) and Jonathan received his last award.
We had a great 7 days paid for vacation, thank you AMR and Cindy. We had a blast and were thrilled to have Jonathan receive this unique award.

Bowling

About two weeks ago Jonathan, Olivia and I went bowling after getting Olivia from school. It was Olivia's first time Bowling and it was entertaining.
She ran with the ball and throw it as best as she could. Then she stood and watched as her ball made it down the lane.
