Only had a little of time and our friend Jackie gave Olivia this turkey to color. Great for easy and short on time. Perfect decoration for the house.

More crafts

Wal-Mart had these great pumpkins for only 50 cents a piece. I could not let that go by. So I bought three and brought them home and we decorated the outside of them in a thanksgiving theme. It was fun and really cheap. I figured after thanksgiving I will let Olivia carve them for fun.

a little glimps

A little idea of what I do. So we get a call at 10:21pm to go to a car that ran into a house. En route dispatch tells us that the house is on fire. Then dispatch tells us to stage, a gun is involves. So after staging (waiting) for 3 hours on the side of the road while swat tries to get the guy out of the house. The house was on fire twice, police put it out with extinguishers, then he lite it off again. So after he finally gave up, he was flown to a hospital for smoke inhalation. Then we attended to the fire.

this green picture is from flight. When they were coming for the patients this is what they saw when they took off 25 miles away.
a day in the life of the fire house.

2nd Thanksgiving celibration

Thankful Tree, make your tree with your family, trace out three hands a piece, and have that person write one thing on each hand of what they are thankful for. Then share them with the family as you put them up. It is a colorful piece to our kitchen now.

Halloween Eve run

We ran a 5k race on Halloween eve.
Olivia did great, she ran about 1.5 miles all on her own. Then she got tired and I carried her in while running. (not recommended)
Jon and I were Rag dolls and won the CUTEST couple.
After our 5k race Olivia ran the kids 1 mile race. Yes she had energy to run a whole mile by her self. She did awesome.
We all had a wonderful time and hope we can do this next year.
Nothing like burning calories before eating junk food.
