8th Birthday
We invited a family over so the kids could play. Outside fun and board games before dinner, presents and cake and ice cream. She loved her chocolate on chocolate icing cake.
This little girl is growing to fast. I am proud of her and all of her accomplishments.

Last Saturday camping trip
Last Saturday we sent for the mountains despite the weather forecast to camp for three days. I was excited and prayed it would not rain like the weather reported it would. Most of the trip there was dry until we got 20 minutes away. We stopped at lunch and then continued on the way. Yes it was raining at the summit where we were camping at 11400 feet. We talked with another camper which stated it has been raining for 36 hours straight and it was not looking good. We drove around for an hour in hopes of a break. Nothing!
Disappointed and whining kids we headed home. Jon had a great idea and to stop when it was clear and fish and eat our dinner.
We found a nice place half way home to stop make a fire cook hot dogs and let the kids fish in the river and play in the dirt.
The kids found a huge beetle. Jon told the kids whom ever pick up the beetle first got a dollar. Emma was the winner by far. Nobody was interested except her.
Last we needed a treat for being in the car all day long. We found a ice cream shop. Abigail's first ice cream in a cup. We made it home at 8pm and off to bed.
a tipical wednesday
7-730 we are up and eating. We leave at 820am for speech therapy. Speech is from 9-930. Well we are in the city so why not take advantage of it. Barnes and noble for free books just down the road, gas, and then summer bowling program. Yes $8 for all of us to bowl 1-2 games.
Then to the medicine shop for Abigail medicine. Then we get home, put Abigail to bed. Kids read for 30 minutes, while I make lunch. Then I kick the kids outside to play to keep the house quiet. I clean and get school stuff ready for next week school begins. Abigail wakes, start dinner. Jon comes home we eat, after we clean up dinner, to the pool we go to get the kids more tired! Home get them showered and in bed by 7pm.
That is a Wednesday in a nut shell. We do not swim every night. Just if we have extra engery in the house.

When the kids went to bed we watched the thunder storms come in with an amazing sky god made for us. What a prefect night for the end of the trip.

Oregon day three
We stopped in Mill Creek to see some waterfalls. We thought this was it. It was a beautiful canyon with a river going through.
Then we stopped at natural bridges. That was the best thing I ever seen. A river just disappearing underground.
Then we stopped at the Rogue river gorge.
Our destination for the day was Creator Lake. The water was so clear. The kids enjoyed the volcano learning side of it.
On our way back I saw a sign for Mill Creek Falls. It was like we flew to Hawaii. Just beautiful.
