Febuary 2018

First weekend in February I took Emma and James Skiing.  They both did amazing and we lasted from open to close.  They even did jumps by the end of the day and they loved them the best.

Emma Sold Girl scout cookies and reach pasted her goal of just over 400 cookies.  She was so excited to hear her number.

Heaven played basketball for her school and they made it to the final championship and got second place.  They did really well this year and Heaven even got three points in one game.

Emma went to a Father daughter Dance with Jon.  She was tickled pink to spend alone time with Dad, dancing and a new dress.  They had a wonderful time.

Jon took the kids to cripple creek for an ice festival for a day.  They always enjoy the big piece of ice that they can play about in some way.

Mom came out for a week to visit.  Well needed visit and I needed to see my mom.  Kids always enjoy the time as well.

Jon took Heaven to a father daughter dance in the city.  That was a very fancy dance, they hung out from 6-1030pm dancing the night away.

We had some family photos does.

Abigail was in gymnastic for a month to help improve some motor skills.  She loved the balance beam that was close to the ground, she does not like heights, and refused to learn a summer salt.  O well we tried.

Months go by really fast, thanks for reading.

January WOW

Heaven and I celebrated a Birthday.  We went out to dinner and had a relaxing day.  We bought heaven some really random crappy gifts for her birthday to through her off.  she was as sweet as could be and said thank yu and just went about her day.  During dinner we told her we forgot a present.  Yes Pop tarts another random stupid gift.  She said thank you and wanted to move one.

Then we made her open the pop tarts because we could not get the phone to ring (I put it on silent)
she was confused until she found the sealed pop tart that felt weird.   She opened it and got her real present for her birthday.
Took Emma Skiing to teach her how to ski.  She did amazing and needed very little help through out the day.
While kids are in school Abigail and I play babies, or tea party, nor shopping.
Took the kids Ice Skating, they loved it!
Went to Denver Zoo for a day.  A lot of new animals for them to see and learn about and feed.
Even and I had a date night at home.  We both read the book "The Snowman" and then we watched the movie.  Th book was way better then the movie.
On January 22, we said good bye to Punky.  His arthritis and something else was causing him so much pain.
Heaven has been playing 8th grade basketball for the last month.  They lost only two games and this week they move onto the championship round.  She has made 11 points over this past month and her skill level has grown a ton!  Very proud of her and cant wait to see what she does next.
We took a family trip skiing to Breckenridge ski resort.  Abigail loved playing in the snow and learning how to ski.
Even enjoyed skiing with mom and dad for the day and going trick and going into the trees with dad.

Emma and James had free ski lessons for the day.  Emma was able to fine tune her skill and James just learn a little better.
The trip was a great family fun get away.

December 2017 Recap

We had very warm days for December.  After Therapy we stopped by the big slides to get some energy out.
Made a felt tree for Abigail to play with, in hopes she would not play with the real tree.  (She does not play with either tree!)
Heaven had her school Musical which was called Once on this Island and she did amazing as Mama!
Took Abigail to open gymnastic and she is loving the balance beam.  She developmental skills are finally catching up.
We went to the forest to get our tree this year.  Heaven is so strong now, she can show off her strength with a 6 foot tree.
Heaven helps out once in a while at a local stables in exchange for free lessons.
James and Emma both got an award at school for good behavior.
Emma and James had a Christmas party at the end of there 2017 school year!

we have had very little snow this year and the kids were persistent about making a snow man.
Emma made this at girl scouts.  After the holidays cookie sales will begin soon!
two days of making cookies for the neighbors, we made 6 different types of goodies and over 15 dozen of sweets! All the kids did great with there hands and not licking anything.  I figured out if you give Abigail the stuff to lick she is sick of sweets and wants no more.
we went to the fire station to see Santa.  Parents bring the gift for Santa to give out.  This year I was on a roll, I made two out of four kids cry on Santa's lap!  James wrote to Santa and asked for a real baby brother.  I had to mess with that and Santa gave him a boy doll for him to play with his sisters and the doll had a note stating he does not give out real babies so here is a toy baby.  (he plays with the doll daily and sleeps with it too)!
Heaven got a book called Love you forever by Robert Munsch.  It is her favorite book when she was a kid, and Santa had to bring that to her.  Her's was a cry at least.

Kids sang a song at church for Christmas.
Couple nights sewing I finally got Emma and Abigail there baby doll carriers made.  I hope they love them!

I have my little slaves, wait I mean elves making next year's Christmas cards.

We finish off with a little ice skating before Christmas.  James is learning how to stop instead of falling.  Emma just has so much confidence while skating, I love it.    Abigail has a love hate with it.

November recap 2017

We have been busy with so much stuff just did not take a lot of photos.  We wrote Santa letters earlier this month.  James asked Santa for a real baby Brother, and Abigail asked for a real peppa Pig.  The sweetest of all was Heaven asking Santa for her brother and sisters to get what they wanted.  Love that sweet soul!
Jon took Heaven to an Air Force Football Game.  It was a really chilly night but they both had a great time sporting off there navy sweats they wore.
Random day time pictures of Abigail, while the others are in school, She loves her Zoey.

played doctor with her friends.
We all went for a hike on thanksgiving week off.

We made out Thanksgiving Hands for the window.

Emma and Abigail playing in the cupboards while I was making dinner.
On our way to the doctors we stopped at a pond that had a lot of Canadian Geese.  We are not aloud to feed them because Colorado does not want them here.  Still really cool.
Thanksgiving day was relaxing.  Jon and Heaven hung up the Christmas lights outside.  James, Abigail and I were like.  Dinner turned out really good.  Jon made his first Turkey and it made the house smell really good. Thanksgiving weekend Jon took the younger three horse back riding.
We saw Santa already.  I am telling you right after Thanksgiving is prefect.  Santa is not busy and spends time with all the kids.
And lastly was yesterday.  Abigail had her monthly infusion of Iron.  A normal 1 hours there max and we are headed home.  Not today, we arrive at 855 and left at 120pm.  The nurse missed the first two attempts.  She called for a picu nurse with ultra sound to come down.  They found a vein in her right wrist and after 5 minutes the vein blew and Abigail was screaming.   I uncovered her from the warm blanket and saw it and called for the nurses.  We had to wait for an hour for the swelling to go down and to see if there was going to be a reaction.  Then the picu nurse cam again and tried again with no luck and then she brought in another nurse and they finally got it done.  20 minutes into the 30 minute infusion Abigail started to tell me it hurt.  The nurse came back it but we kept it going as the splint was to tight and was causing issues.  We finally got the infusion.  Good new after wards that the first one worked really good but not sure for how long.  Her neutrophil numbers where up, white cell count was up, red blood was down and her iron was normal.  The doctor does not know how to explain it.  No more infusion for now.  Just blood work and we will see.  after all what Abigail went through the nurse got Abigail a toy out of the treasure box.  She calls it her big girl toy for ouches.
She is such a champ with all this.
